The twelfth annual Marion Area Science & Engineering Fair was held March 16, 2013.

The Marion Area Science & Engineering Fair is affiliated with the Society for Science & the Public and is held at the Alber Student Center, The Ohio State University at Marion, in conjunction with
North Central District Science Day.
The Marion Area Science & Engineering Fair has two divisions: a senior division for grades 9-12 and a junior division for grades 5-8.
High school students competed in the senior division for an opportunity to participate in the
Intel International Science & Engineering Fair
(ISEF), to be held in Phoenix, Arizona, May 12-17, 2013.
ISEF participants will receive an all expenses paid trip to Phoenix for the competition.
Students in grades 6-8 competed in the junior division for an opportunity to participate in the
Broadcom MASTERS middle school program.
