Daniel Brown and Jacob Beach Win Grand Award at Intel International Science & Engineering Fair
Daniel Brown and Jacob Beach were winners of a Fourth Place Grand Award in the team category at the 2009 Intel International Science & Engineering Fair in Reno, Nevada. The award is worth $500.

Daniel Brown and Jacob Beach Upper Sandusky High School
Their project, The Decomposition/Construction of Complex Data Strings or Systems, was the fourth ranked Computer Science team project, and was among the top 30% of all team projects at the 2009 Intel ISEF, the world's largest international pre-college science competition, attended by more than 1,500 high school students from over 50 countries.

Marion Area Science & Engineering Fair

The ninth annual Marion Area Science & Engineering Fair will be held March 20, 2010.
The Marion Area Science & Engineering Fair is affiliated with the Society for Science & the Public and is held at the Alber Student Center, The Ohio State University at Marion, in conjunction with
North Central District Science Day.
The Marion Area Science & Engineering Fair has two divisions: a senior division for grades 9-12 and a junior division for grades 5-8.
High school students compet in the senior division for an opportunity to participate in the
Intel International Science & Engineering Fair
(ISEF), to be held in San Jose, California, May 9-14, 2010.
ISEF participants will receive an all
expenses paid trip to San Jose for the competition.
